School Uniforms

Guidelines following 'modest dress' and Catholic standards have been used to develop Saint John the Baptist School's dress code. By requiring uniforms and limiting jewelry, hairstyles or questionable attire, disruptions to the learning environment are eliminated.

Daily School Uniform:

The basic uniform is navy blue dress slacks, white or light blue polo shirts, white or light blue long or short sleeve button-down shirts, plaid skirts, and plaid jumpers. All of these items can be purchased online from School Belles or French Toast, our official uniform providers.

Jumpers are for girls in grades K-4 and skirts are for girls in grades 5 -8. Length must be below the knee to mid-calf and must be loose fitting.

Gym Uniform:

For physical education (PE) a uniform is required for all students (kindergarten is optional). The PE uniform is made up of a gold T-shirt, black gym shorts, and tennis shoes (no black soles) with socks. However, the students may wear the gym shorts and T-shirts sold by the Home and School Association (HASA) which have the SJB logo.

The dress code is strictly enforced and parents will be called for a change of clothing should it be required.
